Contamination control, protecting plant capital,
and cleanliness are important for a food and beverage facility.
Waterborne acrylic industrial coatings are a great choice to
fulfill these needs as they provide excellent protection and
corrosion resistance to aqueous fluids, are environmentally
friendly, exhibit low-odor, and are easy to apply.
Applications
Typical suitable areas of use include: storage tanks, piping,
racking, office space, locker rooms, building infrastructure,
hand railings, doors, and shelters.
Waterborne acrylics are not recommended for
fluid immersion, but intermittent contact by aqueous fluids
generally poses few problems. Constant contact with caustic
or corrosive fluids needs to be considered as well.
Typical suitable substrates
for coating include: steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, concrete
or masonry, plastic and wood.
