Supporting environment protection, safety,
and protection of plant capital are three important goals in
managing an Oil and Gas facility. Waterborne acrylic industrial
coatings are a great choice to fulfill these needs as they provide
excellent protection and corrosion resistance, are environmentally
friendly, exhibit low-odor, provide the ability for brilliant
color coding and are easy to apply.
Applications
Typical suitable areas of use include: storage tanks, piping,
racking, office space, locker rooms, building infrastructure,
hand railings, doors, shelters and corporate signage.
Waterborne acrylics are not recommended for
fluid immersion but intermittent contact by aqueous fluids generally
poses few problems. Constant contact with caustic or corrosive
fluids needs to be considered as well.
Typical suitable substrates for coating include:
steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, concrete or masonry, plastic
and wood.
